Bingo

Bingo_LadiesBingo is an old time favourite amongst most residents. Pokeno can be played with the same rules as bingo using a deck of cards, shuffled first and then draw cards from the deck to match cards on the playing cards.

We actually played for money, all be it small amounts, however it adds to the excitement.

When a hearing impaired person was added to the mix, I was stretched to think of how to allow her to participate without taking away her independence.

With modern technology as the numbers were  called they were projected on to the whiteboard or large screen, this enabled our hearing impaired person to have the independence she so desired to play bingo independently.

      Hi Annabelle

Welcome. Let me have a think about how I might be able to do that. With the bingo projection sheet we typed the numbers in a word doc with enlarged size fonts as we called them out. Pokeno actually has the playing cards.

      Cheers
      Birgit

      Hi Annabelle

I have added a PDF of the playing cards that you requested. You may need to “Save As” to ensure it works correctly on your pc. When in thumbnail mode you will still need to click on the card you require to have as a large image.

      Hope this helps.

      😀
